SHINWA COOLING TOWERS (AGAIN) FOR NOVENA SQUARE

NOVENA SQUARE, a mixed development of commercial offices and shopping mall, lies directly above Novena Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station.

When Novena Square was launched in the year 2000, Asiatic Engineering supplied and installed SHINWA Cooling Towers for the air-conditioning system. After 17 years of operation today, the HVAC system is to go through a retrofit program where some of the major equipment in the systems are to be replaced. Since the existing SHINWA Cooling Towers were serving the property well for the last 17 years, the owner of Novena Square, UOL, has decided to continue to on using SHINWA in the new system.

In the SGD400,000.00 contract awarded by Measurement & Verification Pte Ltd to Asiatic, a total number of 6 units of cooling towers were supplied and installed. It comprises 4 nos. of SNC-U1280ASSD and 2 nos. of SNC-U640ASSD totalling 4,900RT.

The project is ongoing.
