MARKETING EXECUTIVE
The candidate is responsible for marketing Asiatic’s full range of products and services to contractors, M&E consultants and end users. The range of products includes Pump & Systems, Cooling Towers, PPR Pipes & Fittings and Electrical Enclosures & Distribution Boards.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Create detailed business plans to facilitate the attainment of goals.
- Uphold and promote corporate image and branding.
- Create market awareness of products and generate leads.
- Plan, organise and manage marketing events and activities such as conferences, seminars and exhibitions.
- Produce marketing collateral including brochures merchandise, etc; and developing content for update to company website.
- Visits to M&E consultants and clients.
- Maintain frequent contact with clients to understand their needs.
- Gather market intelligence - Update management on latest market trends, project developments, competitors’ activities and products.
- Provide support to the sales team.
- Any ad-hoc or related duties as assigned from time to time.
EXPERIENCE
- Relevant marketing experience, preferably in the building industry and/or manufacturing & industrial sector.
- Candidates with relevant marketing experience (but not related to building industry and/or manufacturing & industrial sector), may also be considered.
- Entry level candidates with the right aptitude and background may also be considered.
THE ‘PERFECT’ CANDIDATE
The candidate is expected to be a reliable professional, able to achieve balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach.

- Preferably possesses at least a Diploma in business/sales/marketing
- Technical background a plus but not necessary

POSITION 2
SALES ENGINEER(Air-conditioning & Mechanical Ventilation Division)
The candidate is responsible for sales and marketing of Pumps & Systems, Cooling Towers and related products; to the commercial and industrial air-conditioning market
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Grow and service existing accounts
- Visit customers at their work place/office
- Attend to sales enquiries and after-sales support matters
- Identify, understand and propose suitable solutions to meet customer’s needs and requirements
- Prepare quotations, product technical specifications and product manual
- Prepare sales report, forecast and other reports required by management
- Conduct technical training for customer
- Attend to site inspections and other site related matters
- Assist to monitor payments from customers
- Any related ad-hoc duties assigned by management
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Relevant experience in promoting and sales of Pump & Systems and/or Cooling
- Candidates with relevant sales and marketing experience in industrial products (not related to Pumps & Systems and Cooling towers), may also be considered.
- Entry level candidates with the right aptitude and background may also be considered.
THE ‘PERFECT’ CANDIDATE
The candidate is expected to be both independent and a team player and able to achieve a balance between customer orientation and a results-driven approach. Other desired qualities, qualifications and requirements include the following:
- ITE Certificate/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and above or other relevant engineering field
- Proven track record of new sales development
- Fast learner
- Good communication, presentation and negotiation skills
- Energetic, and self-motivated
- High degree of initiative, drive and responsibility
- Preferably possess class 3 driving license and own transport
