ASIATIC VIETNAM SUPPLIES TO NOI BAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

NOI BAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (NIA), the biggest airport in northern Vietnam, serves the capital city of Hanoi. The airport is located at Phu Minh Ward Soc Son District, 45 kilometres from the city centre. The New International Terminal 2 opened at the end of 2014. The new terminal offers 96 check-in counters, ten self-service kiosks and 17 boarding gates. Domestic flights now operate from Terminal 1. International airlines operating from Hanoi Noi Bai, includes Vietnam Airlines, Pacific Airlines, AirAsia, Cathay Pacific, Hong Kong Airlines, Thai Airways, Lao Airlines and Tiger Airways.

Asiatic Vietnam was awarded the contract of SGD1.26 million (USD900,000.00) to supply pumps to Japan’s Taisei Corporation, who is the main contractor for the project via M&E contractor, REE. The type of pumps supplied from KAWAMOTO, Japan, includes end suction pumps, nylon-coated horizontal multistage pumps, packaged fire-fighting pumps and pressure booster systems. The applications include chilled & condenser water circulation in HVAC system, fire protection system and water transfer & pressure boosting.
