CONERGY JAPAN K.K., one of the world's largest downstream solar companies, on the acquisition, development, sale and conclusion of EPC contracts for the construction of the 25.88 megawatt (MW) ICHINOSEKI PHOTOVOLTAIC MEGA SOLAR POWER PLANT in Iwate Prefecture, Japan.
EPC contracts for Conergy Japan to supply solar components for the project and to lead the project construction were executed in April 2016 and the construction completed in December, 2017. This project, financed by Shinsei Bank, shall commence the commercial operation in the fourth quarter of 2017. The PV solar plant will supply power to Tohoku Electric Power under Japan's Feed-in Tariff scheme under a PPA at the rate of 40 yen per kWh for 20 years.
Asiatic Japan together with Hensel India who spearheaded this project, supplied 159 units of HENSEL DC Combiner boxes with string monitoring, for this 25MW PV solar plant. The boxes were successfully commissioned in December 2017 with the assistance of a technician from HENSEL India.
