The latest Singapore’s Mass Rapid Transport’s THOMSON-EAST COAST LINE (TEL) will connect the Northern and Eastern regions via the Central region and the new Downtown Line. When fully in operation, the Line will be about 43 km long with 31 stations, running from Woodlands North (TE1) to Sungei Bedok (TE31) via Thomson, Stevens, Orchard, Marina Bay, Tanjong Rhu, Marine Parade and Upper East Coast
Thomson-East Coast Line (at Stage 1) began construction in 2016, and is expected to finish by 2024 with the completion of Stage 4 & 5. The M&E contracts have been awarded to Voltas Ltd for TEL Stage 1 & 2; TEL Stage 3 to Shinryo Corporation and Gammon Pte Ltd for the Mandai Depot.
Asiatic continues its run in supplying cooling towers and HVAC pumps to TEL Stage 1 & 2, TEL Stage 3 and the Mandai Depot. The total order from the three contractors amounts to approximately SGD3.0 million. To be supplied are 72 units of SHINWA Cooling Towers and 229 units of MONOFLO Pumps (combination of ‘DIN-MASTER Series’ End Suction Pumps, ‘LINEAR Series’ Vertical Multistage Pumps & Deepwell Submersible Pumps to 22 stations.
