ASIATIC SUPPLIES FIRE PUMPS TO PRATT & WHITNEY PHASE II

Following its successful completion of the 3-storey, 14,864-sqm industrial development with ancillary facilities in 2013, Pratt & Whitney’s first Built-to-Suit (BTS) facility at Seletar Aerospace Park, Ascendas secured a second contract to develop Pratt & Whitney’s second BTS facility on an adjacent site. A combined GFA of 17,000 sqm.

Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corp, is a world leader in the design, manufacture and service of aircraft engines, industrial gas turbines and space propulsion systems. Pratt & Whitney has nine businesses in Singapore.

The fire protection contractor, Chubb Singapore Pte Ltd, awarded Asiatic to supply USA’s PATTERSON FM/UL Fire Pumpsets for the fire sprinkler system in the PRATT & WHITNEY PHASE II facility. Two sets of PATTERSON FM/UL horizontal split case pumpsets were supplied, and were commissioned in June, 2012. The pumpsets comprised of 1 nos. electric-driven and 1 no. diesel engine-driven.
