ASIATIC CONSTRUCTS SOLAR PV SYSTEMS ON MARINA BAY SANDS

Asiatic in collaboration with CONERGY, Singapore, provides solar power on one of the most iconic landmarks in Singapore’s skyline, MARINA BAY SANDS, one of Asia’s leading destinations for business, leisure and entertainment.

Asiatic was the appointed the solar PV system integrator by Conergy, one of the region’s largest downstream solar companies. Asiatic joint-designed with Conergy the 145kW solar system, constructed & installed and commissioned the system. This is by far the highest location in the country that Asiatic has fitted panels, at 200m above sea level.

With solar panels lining the roofs of the iconic Sands SkyPark and covering an area of 880sqm, Marina Bay Sands will be able to reduce carbon emissions by 70 tons every year. The 536 nos. of solar panels can generate 187 megawatt-hours of energy per year. The panels installed are the Conergy PE 270 mono noir PV modules from JA Solar and roof-top racking solutions from Mounting Systems GmbH.
