Asiatic Engineering Pte Ltd, for the first time, was ranked among Singapore's Top 500 Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), according to the latest Singapore SME500 rankings released on February 4, 2009. Awards were given out to the top ranking companies by our Minister-of-State for Trade & Industry, Mr. Lee Yi Shyan, during a gala dinner at Ritz Carlton recently.

A recognition of Singapore's top performing companies, the S1000 and SME500 awards and rankings are compiled by DP Information Group (DP Info) using the audited results of over 8,000 companies incorporated in Singapore, with their financial year ending from 1st June 2007 to 31st May 2008. The result is an honour roll of the most successful companies in Singapore - from large multinational corporations recognised throughout the world, to home-grown SME success stories.

The annual rankings, now into their 22nd year, are co-produced and partnered by Ernst & Young, IE Singapore, SPRING Singapore and The Business Times.
