IntroducingTuthillsnew range of process gear pumps:GlobalGear
successor of ST series.
Tough
gears
The rotor
& idler gears are made of ductile iron, which can
handle the stresses of high-viscosity and high-pressure
operation.
Strong
shaft design
Most models
employ high strength 4140 alloy steel shaft. This along
with oversized shaft diameters, ensures a strong, reliable
shaft.
Robust
bearings
Oversized
ball bearings. Side-top port option.
Modular ports
Several
port styles are available to match your
piping needs. Some examples of port options are
side-to-side or side-top,
NPT or BST tapped, ANSI 125#/150# or 250#/300# flanged,
ISO PN16 or PN40 flanged. Moreover, each pump size
has numerous ports size option to minimize piping
losses.
Modular seal chamber
Modular seal chamber provides
a choice of packing, mechanical seal or cartridge seal, without
having to change any major components gear, shaft & bearing.
Standard shaft sizes
Allow you to use seals you
probably already have for other rotating
equipment. And this applies no matter where you are, because GlobalGear
pumps are available with your choice of nominal inch or metric shaft
sizes.
Spare
drive modules
The back
pullout design allows you to stock a spare drive module
instead of a complete pump.
Back pullout design
The back pullout design allows
you to stock a spare drive module instead of a complete pump.
A: Typical time to replace complete pump.
B: Typical time to replace GlobalGear drive module.
In-line seal access
Reduces seal maintenance time. The seal can be
removed without disturbing the piping or shaft alignment.
A: Typical time to replace seal in pump without inline
seal access feature.
B: Typical time to replace seal in GlobalGear pump.
No piping
changes
GlobalGear mounting
dimensions match those of most other gear pumps.
No drive changes
At any given speed, the GlobalGears flow rates match
those of most other gear pumps.
A. Other gear pump at 780 RPM.
B. GG130 at 780 RPM.
